WHAT IS THE RACE FOR LIFE? The Race For Life is an annual event held at every USA BMX sanctioned track in the nation to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The Race For Life is open to anyone who would like to race - it is one of few USA BMX events at which you do not need a membership to race. Just start collecting your pledges to be turned in on the day of the event! To truly understand the Race For Life, we invite you to read about the origin of the event. USA BMX Awards: In place of trophies, USA BMX offers other rewards for levels of pledges or donations collected by each rider. Whip
City BMX Awards: We support our riders in their
fundraising
efforts for the Race for Life!! For the ONE RIDER who raises
the highest amount of money for Whip City's Race for Life (for
fundraising of at least $150 over the minimum)....Whip City
BMX will waive this rider's single points registation fees for one
class per night (events with a registration fee of $10) for the rest of
the season. (Valid
only for registration fees for one class at each single point race held
at Whip City BMX for the rest of the season; non transferable, no cash
value). |
